The Gold Section
The Gold Section is a precision tool to achieve beauty, this tool is found in all universe and it is originated from the gold number.
All masterpieces from our past have last a long time because they were made according to this natural proportion. The artist must submit is feelings to the rational organization of the number, the number create order, order create rhythm, rhythm create harmony.
The golden number bring an harmonic equilibrium of perpetual proportions. The sequence of natural numbers 1,2,3,4,5,... have each one more unit than the preceding number and one less unit than the next, establishing one equal and constant simmetry simple and monotonus. If me make this sucession of numbers additve (each term in sucession equal to the sum or the two precedding numbers) we will obtain an non-simmetric serie, but harmonoius because of its proportionality. 0+1=1 1+1=2 1+2=3 2+3=5 3+5=8.... (0,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,377, ...). This number sucession is called the Fibonacci Serie honoring Fibonacci Leonardo Da Pisa italian mathematician who discover it.
Fibonacci realizae that this numbers were found in all nature phenomena, the growing of a tree, the number of petals of a flower, ...
These numbers forms a serie of proportional and harmonic mathematical fractions..

Combining this fractions we will obtain a more wide serie of proximate intervals.
If we divide the denominator between numerator starting with the fraction 34/55 a constant number emerge 55/34 = 1.618, this number is called the golden number = 1.618.
We can keep making this with all fractions and this number will remain the same 1.618.
The golden number is the Geometric Gold Proportion. We know that this number emerge form Fibonacci numbers as a symbol of an harmonic relationship between two different magnituds. This number can also be represented as size relationship between two lines.
One 1000 units line AB could be divided in a number of different ways. If we cut it in the half we will obtain a simple geometry of monotonus and constant relationship.
If we cut it in the B extreme we will obtain an irrational asimetry without harmony and with an unbalanced equilibrium.
Is there only one way to divide this line making it pleasant to the human eye, and this is precisely the Gold Section.
